Item description: The baffle is a "roll over" type, and it goes all the way to the chamber opening, where it drops off in a small semi-circle shape. The chamber is medium-large. Underneath the rails is "straight", not "scooped out". The facing is medium-long.
Most important to is how all the factors come together. I would describe the playability as easy and versatile. The sound can be dark, but it can also be played a little brighter. So that would put the sound right in between dark and bright. It depends on the individual player's approach, reed, and horn. These mouthpieces are "easy to control", and have little or no "buzz", which allows the player to produce a clear and rich sound. That is what makes these great mouthpieces.
